TBG SEO Engine is The Build Guy’s proprietary WordPress application for website SEO, read-only Google Search Console insights and authorised publishing to connected business channels, including Google Business Profile.

TBG SEO Engine is owned and operated by The Construction Man t/a The Build Guy (Company Registration No. 2024/530496/07), Gauteng, South Africa.
It is an internal business application used by authorised The Build Guy administrators. It is not a public SEO platform, consumer login service or product offered for resale.
What the application does
Practical controls for the content we publish.
The website remains the original source. Connected platforms receive only content deliberately prepared and authorised for publication.
Search Console insights
Read the selected property’s clicks, impressions, search queries, pages, average position, sitemaps and URL inspection results. The connection cannot add or delete properties or submit pages for indexing.
Content workflow
Detect eligible new blog posts and prepare platform-appropriate summaries, links and media without treating ordinary pages or old content as new posts.
Authorised publishing
Publish approved content to the selected Google Business Profile location and record the result. Failed external jobs do not block the original website article.
Google connection
Access is permission-based, limited and revocable.
TBG SEO Engine uses Google OAuth so an authorised administrator can grant specific access without giving the application the Google Account password.

Connect
An authorised administrator starts the connection from the protected WordPress dashboard.

Consent
Google displays the requested permissions and the administrator chooses whether to approve them.

Read or publish
The application reads the selected Search Console property or submits approved content to the selected Business Profile location, depending on the permission granted.

Disconnect
Access can be removed in the application or revoked from the Google Account’s third-party connection settings.
Google permissions used: webmasters.readonly for read-only Search Console data and business.manage for Business Profile account, location and Local Post operations.
Data boundaries
We use connected data only to operate the authorised feature.

No password collection
Authentication and consent take place on Google’s systems. The application receives authorisation tokens, not the account password.
No sale of Google user data
Google user data is not sold, rented or used for advertising profiles, credit decisions or unrelated marketing.
No general AI training
Google user data is not used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
